Troubleshooting Taking Screenshots:
Update your iPhone:
What to Update: Installed apps and the iOS.
How to do so...
A. Verify Compatibility:
Identify your iPhone model. The first thing that comes to mind in incompatibility being the culprit. So, confirm the model of your iPhone. If iPhone model is incompatible with iOS 16 then it is because you iPhone does not meet the hardware requirements for this iOS version(s).
B. If Compatible...
1. Back Up First:
IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update
then...
2. Proceed with the Update:
Just press and release them quickly and at the same time. The screen should flash white when you do it correctly and you should see a small image on the bottom left corner of the screen of what you just took. You can then tap on it to open the editor and make any changes you need to. If you don't if will automatically get saved to the Photos app regardless.
Check the Photos app Recents album for the screenshots.
That is the only way to take a screen shot outside of using Assitive Touch and the Assistive Touch button.

What happens when you try exactly?
Are you holding down the volume up and power / sleep buttons and then releasing them quickly?
Hi Phil.
yes I am holding these buttons then releasing but it’s not working.
then I went for Double/Triple tap that also didn’t work.
I have done software update also. That also didn’t help.
is there any other way ?
