IPlugmate app

Hi! I realize that this is an old post but I just stumbled upon it when I discovered that my iplugmate doesn't work anymore. I am having the same issue as everyone. I tried looking for your post on how to revert back to the iOS 15 to retrieve my info but I can't seem to find your post. Would you mind posting it again in response to me? I sure would appreciate it. Thanks.

If you want to retrieve your files from your hootoo iplugmate device, you should plug it to a usb hub. I think theres a lot of USB hubs in amazon specialized for iphone. From there, open the Files app and you will see the Hootoo folder where you saved your files. Mine worked and opened it to my ipadPRo. I hope this works for you.

Sadly you can't. iOS 16 has rendered it unusable. I've searched high and low for a solution without success. I've also searched for a similar device and can only find cheap Chinese junk with terrible apps and awful navigation... I just copy my stuff now directly from my phone in explorer in my computer.

If you have an encrypted drive and now can’t access it because the iPlugmate crashes and/or iPlugmate no longer available. I offer a cheap service to remove the password on your drive. Fast and discreet service. I do not look at or check the contents once unlocked.

I have a MacBook Pro with IOS 14.2.1 and an external USB hub. I inserted my iPlugmate drive into the USB connector and can read any file on the disk. While I am not happy about losing the IOS app and its capabilities, at least I can retrieve the files stored on the disk. Plus, it makes for a 64 gig backup for files from my Mac. And for general backup of my iPhone 12, I use the iMazing app on the Mac. I can drag and drop files from the Mac to my phone and backup the entire phone and keep old backups as well. All you need is a cable.

Doesnt fix the problem with the device.

the HooToo flash drive uses iPlugmate driver. The company folded in 2017. Theres no more updates for the driver and it doesnt work with the newer phones… because it needs an update. In short…. Its garbage and you have buy a new one. There is no fix.

Yep tried everything hopefully they have a fix!

Mine did the same thing also after i had used iTunes. Apple in my opinion doesn’t like third party apps to move data to and fro.

After upgrading to ios 16.1 iPlugmate crashes the moment it launches. Will you upgrade the app soon?

I'm totally frustrated my iPlugmate it's not working anymore in my iPhone 12. Is Not available anymore in Apple Store! 😡😡😡😡

sombody know any other app work with the hootoo key? I have many files inside iplugmate app and i fear to lost them!

I strongly urge Apple to do so. You can't lose so important documents. Help us!!
