I can delete majority of my text messages but for some reason I cannot delete 2 random text messages. It doesn’t matter what method I use to delete, it comes right back

That’s exactly what I do. They disappear for less than a second and pop right back up, doesn’t matter if I do it two times or 20 times they stay there and then days later I’ll try it and some will disappear and the rest will continue to stay. I appreciate your input.

Same with me. I cannot delete one text from a text thread. This is ridiculous. Contacted Apple support have the most updated software any information to accomplish this task with great appreciate it.
You can fix this !!!,
Go to Messages…….click on Edit in upper left corner…..click on Select Messages……tap circle next to message trying to delete……..click on Delete on bottom right corner……….
On the drop down menu after clicking edit should show RECENTLY DELETED MESSAGES…….click on and see if message / contact is shown……..
