Voice memos not syncing all files

Voice memos not syncing all files, just the first 50 approx, though I have 1000+ voice memos, how to fix?

I haven't found voice memos on iCloud? are they available there? or only possible to sync to other devices? please give a detailed explanation, including what if they still don't appear, since I've read many other threads, and no matter what not finding them in iCloud, and the closest I've got to hope my files are somehow backed up if I lose my phone is seeing some of them synced to my Mac.

Best would be knowing the exist in cloud. Please help, I'm a musician, and its composed song ideas from the last 4 years, that I'd go crazy if were lost.

Hi peejayo,


While Voice Memos sync between devices using iCloud, they are not located on iCloud.com. If you want to save a copy of them as a precaution to back them up, follow Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud:


"Make a copy of a Voice Memo on your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open the Voice Memos app and tap the recording that you want to duplicate. 
  2. Tap More  > Duplicate. You can also tap Share to send the recording via Messages or Mail, or to save it to Files.


On a Mac, simply drag the recording you want to duplicate to copy it to a new location, or tap Share  to send the recording via Messages or Mail. "


To check if your Voice Memos are syncing, verify the following:

  1. Voice Memos is on in iCloud for all devices.
  2. All devices are connected to a strong network.
  3. As it pertains to a network, temporarily disable any VPN or security software.
  4. Restart all devices.


If it continues,  Contact Apple Support or use this Get Support link for assistance.
