camera on my iMac is not working

My camera isn't working at all. I've tried restarting it, and checking the system preferences and I can't zoom, FaceTime or use photo booth. I unplugged the computer too. What's my next step?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 12.3

Try resetting the SMC.

Please try restarting in Safe Mode, click the link for instructions. After you have restarted in Safe Mode, test the camera and if it still is having a problem, then schedule a service appointment.
