Does the new iphone 14 pro max come with a screen protector when you buy it?
You'll need to use another screen protector. After removing the plastic cover, you can apply the screen protector. I recommend tempered glass.

So I got my phone yesterday not realizing that it already had a plastic cover on the screen. I add my screen protector on top of plastic cover with added one big air bubble. Then I realize it had a plastic cover on it. When I took off the plastic cover and try to add my screen protector again it created all these new air bubbles all over the screen protector. Not to happy about that. I had to buy another screen protector with is on order.

You need to buy extra from apple store.
iPhone comes with a plastic dust cover on the screen which should be removed before use. It's not a screen protector.
