Facebook comments - keyboard not disappearing when browsing

So I just updated my iPhone 8 to iOS 16 and my Facebook is glitchy. When Im browsing through comments at a certain post, keyboard stays open and covers half of my screen, instead of rolling down as it should.

Also when I click on "reply", it sometimes doesnt open the "type here" bar so I cannot write anything, sometimes it opens it but the comments roll up or down to a completely different comment so I dont see the comment I am replying to.

Could you help me please?

you’d be wise to check in with Steve Jobs’ inspiration and stop messing with things that work well.

I too have been having issues, and I now can’t really see the difference between your product and Samsung.

you are messing around and disappointing your loyal customers.

I hate iOS16 it’s just made things more complex.

I fail to see how my disdain for a company that exists to harvest people's data so that they can sell it to advertisers has any bearing on my technological prowess. We can disagree on FB's value without resorting to insulting each other, surely.

Having the same issue on iPhone 12 Pro Max since the iOS16 upgrade.

FB is updated to the latest. iOS is updated to the latest patches.

Anyone able to find a fix?

Did all you recommended and the issue still stands. Im afraid Facebook is not gonna talk to a random guy with iPhone 8, Apple should patch this.

I have iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 16.2

Latest build from facebook and still same keyboard problem here.

Yeah man, its fascinating that this issue actually lasts for months now and the best advice for a regular user here is "have you tried contacting Facebook".

I was hoping there was a fix in these comments. I’m having the same issue since I upgraded. Nothing I’ve seen so far helps! It’s very annoying especially on my business page!

Ok I just switched from iPhone 8 t a brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max and I still have the issue. Still no better solution than "contact Facebook" anyone?

I agree, it's made me much less active on Facebook and it's as if Meta just doesn't want to bother to fix this.

Yes, this has been an issue with the Facebook app for several months if not over a year now.

They could fix it but choose not to for their own reasons.

Same here. No way to leave feedback for Google on Gboard. It's almost making it impossible to use the iOS Facebook app. This is probably a FB or Gboard issue but others have reported it too
