my phone was stolen and there was find my iphone on

after week i got SMS from APPLE that says my device was found and when i enter my password my find device turned off automaticlly :(

You were scammed into giving away your credentials.

That SMS was from the criminals!

Lost iPhone scam: received SMS that my phone has been found received an SMS that phone has been found. Turns out it was someone who was trying to reactive my stolen iPhone. Question 1: how would they get my phone number. Being excited that my phone has been found and being on another call, i simply obliged, clicked on the link and even though it looked different, i entered my icloud user name and password. It took me to a google maps page and showed location of my phone. Only later I realised i have been duped. I also noticed that my lost phone has now disappeared from my iCloud account. Question 2: is there anyway to trace this phone using IMEI number? QUestion 3: without knowing my iPhone screen lock password, how would this fraudster be able to login to my iCloud - because i have two step verification.

Got a message from Findmy saying my iphone is online I just searched and saw the answer that it’s a fraud, unfortunately, I have typed in my phone and iCloud password. I have just changed my iCloud password and I realised that FindMy on that iPhone had been turned off, but I can still see the device on my iCloud account. What should I do next? Should I remove the phone from my account? I am concerned that they have got all my private information on my stolen phone
