Email not sending on iPhone

I am having the same problem.

I'm wondering if anyone on this thread is also using an MDM (like MobileIron) or if this is occurring on your personal gmail, yahoo, aol, outlook accounts through the native mail app. Thanks.

Email reply ends the email app. Goes straight to Home Screen. 16.1.1. Just updated. Turned off phone and restarted still have the same issue

It’s a feature on new software if you leave the app too quickly it undo sending the email.

Turn off Undo Send Delay in the mail app settings,

If you search "downgrade to iOS15"

and look up the tenorshare website, there are instructions on how to reinstall iOS15.7.

I disabled the “undo send” feature already and that has rectified the issue with my Comcast account, but not the other email account I am also having the issues with.

turning off send delay worked for me, or not closing app before delay period.

I had to reset both my iPhone and iPad for this to work… Glad you’d needed just a simple restart ^^

No. If you've not sent any new emails and have only sent replies, how on earth did you deduce that it only happens with replies?

Ah - mine didn’t even get sent to my outbox - they totally disappeared. I had to rewrite them. Haven’t had a problem since disabling “undo send delay”.

my setting was 10 seconds and it failed. I used iCloud to send mail.

Thanks. That seems like a logical possibility. For the moment I’ve just disabled the “undo send” feature and haven’t had a problem since. Obviously they need to fix this.
