iPhone 14 Pro Max overheating

Past couple days my iPhone14 Pro Max has been overheating. I have restarted it 3 times in the past two days.

It’s not normal. I just upgraded today from an XR and that phone never overheated like this in the 4 years I’ve had it. I’m taking this new one back to the store tomorrow.

I don't know if you work for Apple or what your deal is, but constantly telling people that it's not the iPhone 14 Pro pluses fault and basically "it's you users, not the phone" isn't as helpful as you make think it is. I've had every iPhone model ever made and this new phone gets so hot that it's almost untouchable. I just measured the temperature and it's over 100° without a case on in an air-conditioned room! I have gotten the warnings about the phone being too hot to charge, so I turn it off instead of being able to use my device!

I've done every fix recommended by Apple to keep it from overheating, I've turned off location services, turned down the brightness, only use one app at a time now to keep it from overtaxing the hardware, use the low power mode, don't use a fast charger, etc. So let me just say that for much money, I should be able to use this device without this much daily aggravation because of the extreme heating problem!

So please just stop telling everyone on here that it's their problem because every publication I've seen has indicated that the iPhone pro max has an overheating issue and with that said, Apple needs to take responsibility for whatever the problem is and address the situation!!
