In my old iPad mini I had to close apps running in the background to save battery how do I do this on my new iPad mini 6

In my old iPad mini I had to go into background to close apps so they didn’t continue to run in the background and use battery, do I need to do this on my iPad mini 6 and if so how,

On iPadOS, you invoke the background app switcher by sliding finger from anywhere along the bottom edge of the iPad's screen and swipe up approx. 1/3 the way up your iPad's screen.


You might want to familiarise yourself with all of the new features of iPadOS.

Lots of changes and new features in iPadOS.
