Why is Face ID disabled?

I turned Face ID of during COVID before the mask update was made, but not I can’t turn it back on and I have an alert in sound that says Face ID is disabled. There’s no damage to my screen or camera. Do I need to take the phone in to be serviced?

Face ID disabled randomly with iOS 17.3 I opened my phone after updating and it says Face ID has been disabled and in the Face ID screen in settings the buttons are just grayed out and you can't tap anything, it says its because a problem was detected with the true depth camera. I talked to a support person, who ran a diagnostics test and it came out saying nothing was wrong. Im wondering if there is any way I can enable Face ID again, because there is no reason for the true depth camera to not work, my phone didn't get wet or damaged or anything, its also been inside for the last week and the camera wasn't covered up either, I also tried restarting my phone and it didn't work. You can see the screen I got in the picture attached.

Face ID has been disabled on my iPhone Good evening….. I walked inside the rain for some couples of minutes so when I got home and I go through my phone I found out that the Face ID has been disabled … so how will I get this rectified? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
