Game update space problem

I am playing the game Evony and it tried to do its regular updates. Now I can’t get into the game. The message says there is not enough space on this device for the upgrade. Well I have 208 GB of space. I have several games tons of pics, music, books, etc and have only used 48GB….including this game. What’s the problem?

Have 32 gb available but app update on iPad says needs 143 mb to update I’ve been dealing with this for quite a while, every time my game app ‘Gardenscapes’ puts out an update. I can’t update. I have deleted photos and videos before just so I could update and play, I don’t want to do that anymore. More importantly I shouldn’t have to because when I check in Settings/general/about it shows I have 1/2 my hard drive available. I have a screenshot of my settings and a screenshot of what the app says when I try to open it. These show my iPad having Over 32 gb available and the app telling me I don’t have the enough space. and i had to crop the screenshot otherwise was too big. just doesn’t add up tha I need 148 mb when I have 32 gb available. I saw there were others with this issue but I have not been able to find a solution so I may update and play my game without deleting my photos and/or videos. please help if you can! 🙏🏼😀
