Hi, Mrm2022,

You can add songs to the Music app on your iPhone via four methods:

  1. Use the iTunes Store app to download past purchases made through the iTunes Store: Redownload music – Apple Support
  2. Sync your music directly from your computer using a USB cable or a Wi-Fi network. How you do this will depend upon whether you're using a Mac or Windows computer, and what operating system is installed. See the following resources for how to sync:

3. You can subscribe to iTunes Match. This service will use iCloud to sync your library from your computer to all

of your devices, whether they're on the same network or not: Subscribe to iTunes Match - Apple Support

4. You can subscribe to Apple Music to get the same benefits as iTunes Match, plus access to all the songs in

the Apple Music catalogue to stream and download for offline listening: Join Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC - Apple Support

If you have music files in your iCloud Drive, you cannot move these to the Music app on your iPhone. You must import them to iTunes on a Windows PC or Mac running macOS Mojave or earlier, or the Music app in macOS Catalina or later, then use one of the above methods to get them onto the iPhone. To learn how to do this, check out the following resources:
