Adding a second display to Mac Studio

I currently use the HDMI port for video display.

I would like to add a second display. Could I use a regular TV by getting a Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter or then does it need to be an Apple display for that?

New MacBook Air to old Apple Cinema Display I'm about to update my 2014 15" MBP with a MB Air 15" and would like to continue to use my old Cinema Display. I currently use a mini Display Port to DVI adapter and I also have a HDMI to DVI adapter. What would be the best way to go? I've been looking at a Satechi hub with HDMI, but it recommends a HDMI-HDMI cable suggesting it may have issues with an adapter in the middle. I'm happy to use a TB/USB C hub since I also need to connect Ethernet and the odd USB-A device.

best option for second display I have to connect a second display to my Mac Studio max, a 27' Eizo 4K. Connected to my Mac Studio there's an Akitio Thunder3 QuadX which has 2 thunderbolt3 ports and 1 DisplayPort 1.2 for a second display. What's the best option between connecting my 2nd display directly to my Mac Studio and to my Akitio? Is DisplayPort preferable over usb-c for displays? Any input or suggestions would be much appreciated. I don't know much about this topic. Thank you!

Yes, you can use multiple aftermarket displays on the Mac Studio’s TB/USB-C ports.
