Beats Solo Pro won’t reset

My solo pro beats wouldn’t connect to my phone so I tried so I hit “forget this device” and tried to do a factory reset. The LED light stays lit and never turns red so it did not reset. My phone never connects to it anymore it’s been several months. I have tried letting the battery drain, then performing a reset once it’s been recharged. I have held down the buttons for 10 minutes at a time and the LED light stays on strong. Can I send this in for repair or is there another trick to try?

Just to rule out an issue with your phone, did you try pairing your Beats to another device?


Other than the reset, this resource has a few other steps to make sure software or firmware is not the cause: Reset your Beats on-ear or over-ear headphones - Apple Support

  1. Try using another power source or a different cable.
  2. Learn about sound troubleshooting for headphones or Bluetooth troubleshooting.
  3. Use the Beats Updater to get the latest firmware. If you have Solo3 headphones that you set up with an iPhone using iOS 10, you automatically receive the latest firmware."


If those steps don't help, then the next best step is to have your Beats inspected by a technician. You can do this by checking out your service options in the following resource: Beats Service & Repair - Apple Support
