Frame rate conversion in FCP or Compressor?

Very much a newbie question here!

My footage and project are all using 30 FPS, however, I have various stock videos I need to include that have different frame rates.

Is it best that I convert the stock footage to the correct frame rate using Compressor, then import it into FCP, or will FCP handle that automatically?

Try just importing these stock videos into FCP and see how it works. FCP usually handles these situations very well.
