Apple Music suddenly showing the composers (band members or writers of non classical songs) instead of the name of the band overnight

I have been using Apple Music and creating tons of playlists for about half a year now. This is what my playlists used to look like… and this list still looks like this….

This week I have been working on creating an At the Gates playlist. From Sunday through Wednesday that playlist worked the exact same. All of a sudden I wake up on Thursday, add a fourth album to the playlist and notice that it’s displayed like this…

The first two songs are the members of the band and if I sorted Apple Music by composers it would list them like this (not on my playlist but in the composers tab) so I know where the information is coming from. After the first album why 0 is listed as the composer I have no idea.

And here’s one more screenshot just to try and explain what is going on overnight

On my Black Sabbath playlist most of the songs still show up like they used to but about one song per album will listen the members of the band instead of the band. It was not like this 2 days ago. I have horrible ocd and am in and out of these lists constantly.

cany anyone help me with what is going on here? Is this an update someone actually wanted? Is this a glitch from an update?

for further information I don’t have a computer my Apple Music is and has always been managed by me with the phone and only the phone I currently have in my hand. There is no way to change this stuff in the app on my phone so I didn’t accidentally hit some button in the app and I also don’t have a cpu if connecting it to that could be a fix.

this isn’t the biggest deal in the world but I have horrible ocd. This is driving me nuts and I just want my playlists to be displayed like any sane person who cares would want Metal and Hard rock to be displayed. With the band name. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong, experiencing the same issues, or even possibly have a fix for this?

thanks for putting up with my wordiness. Thanks for the help

Just a little more info and pictures. This is how the same song that in my at the gates playlist lists the members of the band instead of the bands name when I click on the songs tab

You can see all songs are listed simply with the band name under them including the At the Gates song that you can see from the image of my At the Gates playlist is just a mess.

making things even more frustrating this is how Apple Music’s official At the Gates playlist looks.

that is all I’m looking for. To be able to do the same thing and have my lists listed the same way. Not with 5 Swedish names or 0 as the composer and then the band name.

again to reiterate. I only have my iPhone. Apple Music has only ever existed or been used by me on this phone and this just happened overnight. Please help

So today it just isn’t doing that anymore. I had to go and individually delete and re add to my playlist the 10 or 15 percent of songs that happened to but its back to normal now. Now I’m just fearing this happening again because it really is a time wasting pain in the ***. So even though it’s been resolved if anybody has any ideas on what happened or if there’s anything I can do on my part from preventing this again. I was just about to go back to Amazon music too since all the streaming services have decided to remove Patti Smiths “Rock n Roll N****r”.

Just ridiculous considering probably a million other songs use the word and Patti Smith isn’t exactly a racist she’s one of the biggest progressives the art world has ever seen. Anyways since I bought the cd from Amazon to Ben though it’s not in Amazon music anymore there’s still a downloaded version they give you that will work when you buy the cd. Obviously Apple Music doesn’t have that feature. They won’t even let you buy the song. They tell you to buy the album. I’m assuming when I get a computer I can add the version from my cd to ITunes? So I’ll stick with it I guess.

Apple. Add some ways to customize your playlists. Honesty why can’t I change the name of a song if I want to? And if I ever have this ridiculous composer issue again I can just manually make it say what I want instead of all this deleting re adding to library nonsense
