How do I allow standard users (NOT Administrators) to use Time Machine? I administer several remote MacOS systems and I need to allow users to recover files from Time Machine backups without my admin credentials. I would think that there should be a way for them to recover their own files from a Time Machine backup, but they are continually prompted for admin credentials.

Barney is correct in that a Standard user account shouldn't be prompted. There is some detail that's missing. What I meant by my post was, iF they are being prompted for admin credentials there is no way around that.
While I agree that this is how it “should “ work, when they open the TM interface it immediately prompts for admin credentials. If I’m there and enter the password, they can recover their files, but the next time they log in and try to recover something they are prompted for the admin information again.

There isn't.
That's what I was afraid of. I guess I'll just have to find a similar third-party app to do what I need.
They should be able to Enter Time Machine and use the TM interface to restore individual files, and they can start a backup.
They can't change disks or restore an entire Mac.
