Air tag won’t connect

Got the low battery notification before trying to connect the air tag to my iPhone 13 mini. Changed the battery and my iPhone still can’t “find” it.

Air tag I had to change my battery on my air tag, now it will not connect again. I was using Duracell but read that they don't always work, so I changed the battery to Engergizer and now the beeping works when I reset it, but it still will not connect to my phone. I have already checked the WiFi, Bluetooth, locator, and I reset my network settings back to original.
