Scrolling posts with numerous pages

Why when I click on an interesting post or page on FB does the whole page turn white and unreadable after a few pages? If I wanted to finish reading I have to reload and start all the way back at the beginning of the article. It happens constantly and is super annoying. Does anyone know what I’m talking about? Does anyone know how to fix it?
