Samsung ML-2165 with Monterey will not print anymore

Just Upgraded from Big Sur to Monterey on new iMac Pro. My Samsung ML-2165 printer will not print anymore, I get the message "Impossible d’ouvrir le fichier « libscmssc.dylib », car Apple ne peut pas vérifier s’il contient des logiciels malveillants." Driver seems to be in a format that Monterey does not support. I am trying to download from a link on a support post but the link is not valid "(https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SS/Print_Common_SW/Samsung_Mac_Driver_V3.93.03.dmg).


I Need help...

Any change if you try the latest 06 driver version at https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SS/Print_Common_SW/Samsung_Mac_Driver_V3.93.06.dmg ? Possibly choosing an ML-2160 or M2070?


You may have to reset the printing system betweeen tests.


As always, make sure that you have backup copies of all important files before testing anything.


Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac – Apple Support (UK)

Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem – Apple Support (UK)
