Airplay is connected with my TV but not showing a picture

Both my tablet and the TV are shown to be connected but whenever I try playing a video on my tablet it won’t play on my TV. Instead it just keeps showing the screen with the AirPlay settings on the TV.

Figured it out. When I minimized the screen on my iPad AirPlay changed to tablet mode and I had to just change it back to my TV. I also found out unless I go to full screen on my tablet before connecting to a video ads on the site will interfere with video playback. An ad pops up and the TV switches over to play the ad instead. This loses my place on the video and then I have to replay from the beginning cause it blacks out if I try to fast forward where I left off at.
