Face ID not working

So just bought my brothers iPhone 13 - worked for him perfectly and for me aswell, except I started to get problems with Face ID. When I first set up the phone Face ID worked, but it at one point didn’t work so I was triggered and deleted that Face ID and tried to set up a new one, but now it shows all the time either : Move iPhone a little lower or higher.

Problems started when I downloaded the IOs 16, but now it has a new update and I updated it and the issue remains.

Any ideas?

and/or this one:--> If an alert says Face ID has been disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

If, after performing all the steps provided in the above support articles, the issue persists, contact Apple Support directly, using this specific link:--> Apple Support , or make an appointment and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple - Find Locations - Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
