Continuity camera bug

When i use continuity camera on my mac via my iphone and direct my iphone towards anything which has text,it automatically mirrors it. This is annoying because if i want to show any document lying on my desk it just mirrors it.

Continuity camera disconnects in a random way while scanning documents I am using MB Air M1 2020 Sonoma 14.0 with iPhone 13 Pro iOS 17.0.2 as continuity camera for Preview documents scanning. I have already done all the checks and restarts and there is no change. Sometimes it lets me scan up to 24 pages (which is the feature limit) - sometimes it disconnects after a few pages - sometimes after the first one. There is no difference between wireless connection and USB cable connection and in my opinion it shows that the trouble is not in losing connection itself. Any thoughts? It is one great feature but for now the user experience is terrible. Very often I need to scan the same pages over and over again - very annoying.

Continuity camera odd behaviour Initially when I bought my M2pro Mac mini continuity camera seemed to work fine, now it only works if either the phone is connected via cable or (very strangely) if I plug in another webcam even though my other webcam does not produce an image it seems to trigger something that allows me to choose the iPhone continuity camera in FaceTime, MS Teams etc. Does anyone have a potential solution that would mean I don't need to keep a useless webcam plugged into my Mac just to enable continuity camera on my iPhone?

Continuity Camera on iPhone to Mac I meet all the System Requirements for Continuity Camera, iPhone 8 Plus, Mojave, Bluetooth/Wifi, both same Apple ID, and yet it is grayed out as not an option. Why? What am I missing here?
