My battery on 12 pro is being used by the contacts and hence it drains 10% every hour , what can be done

Hi All, solved the problem! I disabled all the contact syncs (mailaccounts and the iCloud sync). After I re-enabled the contact syncs the problem was gone!
The percentage is for reference only which tells you which app is using the battery most. But it is not saying how much?
Tap on the percentage figure it will tell you how many minutes/hours etc.
Unlike some Android devices, contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other
But this was not the case before wats the remedy
This has happened after installing 16.1
Same problem here. If you Search in contacts it’s keeping refreshing. Removing from the contacts apps is not the sollution.
