- Find my in AirPods name

Whenever I connect my AirPods Pro to my Apple TV or any 3rd party device, it always shows as Kai’s AirPods Pro - Find my. Is there any way to remove the “Find my” part?

Hi Kanthonyd,

We recommend that you try the steps in the link here since it sounds like you're trying to rename your AirPods: Rename your AirPods - Apple Support.

Next, we'd like to show you how to perform the recommended troubleshooting steps via the link above. Please click to open the link, read through it, and try the steps below.

1) Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.

2) Do one of the following:
*On iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings , then tap the name of your AirPods near the top of the screen. Tap the current name, enter a new name, then tap Done.
*On Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click the name of your AirPods in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then enter a new name.

The reason why we are recommending the steps above is because they will show you how to change the name of your AirPods using your iPhone
