After downloading macOs Ventura to my iMac. Editing photos in the Photos app is having problems. I use a Nikon Z7, i shoot in raw. Photos are nice and clear from the camera card. When i edited thru Photos App, photos are blurry and not focused. Had no problems with Monterey. Called Apple support, no help.
Do your two external drives have different filesystem version? Or have they been connected differently to your Mac?
My issues with this problem went away and then returned this week. Strange. No external drives other than backup.
I'm using APFS on both external drives.
I just switched my camera to Raw Mode, went out took a quick photo. Still having the same issue. No issues with camera set to jpeg mode. But, I don't shoot in jpeg mode.
I've sent feedback to Apple twice and talked to customer support about this issue now and it's really disappointing it has not been addressed or even acknowledged.

You should probably start a new thread since this was focused (hah!) on the Nikon Raws, and a thread this size can get pretty muddled.

Agree. Am using Ventura 13.2.1 with M1 iMac and the blurry problem with RAW images still persists. Apple, please fix!

Do you see this problem still. I think it is fixed for Sony ARW files now.
Doesn’t seem to be occurring anymore. Most were iPhone images. I’ll check with my editor.
Apparently, even with Sonoma and Photos version 9.0, the problem has NOT been resolved. VERY discouraging.
