windowserver quit unexpectedly

Hello and respect

It's been a few days since I got the windowserver quit unexpectedly error and this is the error report. Is it possible to check to see what is causing this problem?

WindowServer has not exited since first loaded I am receiving this error every morning for about a week now. My system is turned off and once powered back on WindowServer %CPU gets high at the moment 389.1 with CPU time 1:24:30:98. This is even after fully powering off the MBP and turning it back on. This is becoming a bit painful since getting everything up and functional take quite some time. panic(cpu 2 caller 0xffffff800f131941): userspace watchdog timeout: no successful checkins from WindowServer in 120 seconds WindowServer has not exited since first loaded service: logd, total successful checkins in 684 seconds: 69, last successful checkin: 0 seconds ago service: WindowServer, total successful checkins in 650 seconds: 53, last successful checkin: 120 seconds ago service: remoted, total successful checkins in 684 seconds: 67, last successful checkin: 0 seconds ago service: opendirectoryd, total successful checkins in 684 seconds: 68, last successful checkin: 0 seconds ago service: configd, total successful checkins in 684 seconds: 68, last successful checkin: 0 seconds ago I have sent the full error in but not sure if there is something I can correct.

Windowerver quit unexpectedly Several times a day I get the "Windowerver quit unexpectedly" error. I beieve it started when I upgraded to Ventura, but it might have been to 13.1. This is unacceptable. Is the issue being addressed?

I'm experiencing this issue on 13.0.1 as well.

For each WindowServer crash report, the diagnostic reports show a variation of the following:

It did crash again after reinstalling MacOS

I'm running 13.0.1 on a macbook pro. Error started this week and I'm getting crashes 1-3 times a day.

Exactly switching between apps (screens) with Command-Tab is the crash for me in 99% of cases

I am having the same issue -- very frustrating, and causing me to lose work.

Come on, Apple, you've gotten the crash reports -- let's see a status update!
