Ethernet adapter for MacBook Pro early 2015 Retina

Does anyone know of an adapter for Thunderbolt 2 to Ethernet? I've been using a USB 3 Ethernet adapter with my MacBook Pro with no problems, except that now the adapter cable has split. I use the 2 USB 3 ports a fair bit for other things, and would like to find an adapter that works OK with Thunderbolt 2 ports.

The US apple online store still list this USB model for up to 100 M bits/sec:

Apple USB Ethernet Adapter - $29.00

or this ThunderBolt-2 model that goes up to 1000 M bits/sec:

Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - $29.00

Thanks kaz-k. If I've understood this properly this is a USB C plug that has a USB 3 socket, which then connects to a female RJ45. If that's correct I don't think it will work on my MacBook. I don't have USB C. And I'm looking for a Thunderbolt to RJ45 adapter to keep my 2 x USB 3 ports for other things. Thanks again.
