LG 27UL550 Frame Rate

Hello, I have a LG27UL550 on my MacbookPro 18,3 and it is attached with a USBC to HDMI cable. When set to 1920x1080, I can get it to only go to 30Hz. The cable states that it supports higher at this resolution, but I have been unable to have any luck with increasing it. Is this a known issue, or am I just missing a setting? We've also tried using a USBC hub before purchasing the USBC to HDMI cable and didn't have any luck using that as well.

I tried the exact same setup with a Surface Laptop 4, same monitor and cable, and it displays at the desired resolution with 60Hz, so I can confirm the cable and monitor both work as intended. Please help!
