Google Chrome gets added to login items EVERY TIME!

Seriously, this is so ridiculous! Every time I launch Google Chrome, my system alert says it is automatically going to open on start up. Reading all over the internet and everyone says to delete Chrome from the login items. I do that, then restart Chrome, and it comes back every time! No one has posted any way of actually permanently preventing this stupid browser from loading every time. Help!!!

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.0

Then it violates Apple’s user guidelines. You should remove the garbage ware until they comport to good user interface guidelines.

The app should have a preference item to enable/disable that behavior.
