How to Disable Automatic Link Previews in MacOS Ventura

Agree that this is evil. And sadly, not surprising.

Yea, we can do that today. But it's a pain to have to do that every time you paste a link (I do this multiple times a day). The request is to have a setting to display the plain text link always.

Thanks for that -- I had never seen the ⌘K option before. Another new shortcut and functionality!

I'll use this until my search turns up a true fix to this option.

it is one of the most annoying features - actually of 2 annoying features overall - in my daily use of macos, at least they could have added a check box in settings/composing to turn this off.

In the meantime there is an option in mail settings for this. I'm on 14.4.1 with German user interface: Einstellungen > Verfassen > deselect: "Link-Vorschauen hinzufügen".
