How to Disable iPhone Wallpaper Change from Lock Screen?

Is there a way to disable this horrible “feature“ ? It’s super annoying.

Yes, very annoying.

Adding my vote for an option to toggle this feature on/off. It happens most times I pick up my phone with my whole hand to move around. Annoying.

no literally same my wallpaper changes on accident like everyday they need to let us disable this feature 😭

I’ve used iPhones since they launched and this is the first time I’m considering switching. This is annoying enough to literally change phone brands.

Clearly this is fundamentally all down to a lack of well thought-out ergonomic considerations on Apple’s part, especially for those of us with smaller phones (à la iPhone 12 mini).

Who is the author of this annoying feature and what other surprises to expect in the next release?

This new wallpaper feature doesnt even let me use my moving wallpapers now I’m stuck trying to change the wallpaper when I try to see the video

If I wanted to change my wallpaper, there is a “Settings” menu to do just that.

Too many moving parts and anything can happen with gestures everywhere. Keep it simple please.

How frustrating is this dumb idea

Need a way to disable it. Now I need to reset my wallpaper every other day, because unwanted wallpaper customization is triggered from lock screen.

Please add the ability to disable the long press Lock Screen customization. Once it’s set, I don’t want to be constantly having to fix it after an inadvertent long press

IT IS SO FRUSTRATING. I seriously hope Apple removes this feature, or at the very least allows the user an option to toggle it on/off…
