how can i tell which phone numbers Apple is "automatically" blocking SMS text messages from. I am travelling overseas, my bank sends 2 stage authentication texts that were getting through, but not now. Those originating numbers are not in my blocked lists as under settings. I'm on an iPhone 13 using latest iOS 16

Apple does not automatically block any phone numbers or SMS text messages. This type of service is provided by your carrier. Most often (not all), those two stage verification codes are sent using Short Code Text Messaging. These short code text messages are received from a 5 or 6 digit phone number. This capability/feature is provided and managed by your carrier. I recommend that you contact your carrier and tell them about not receiving verification codes which may be sent over short code messaging service. Their support team should be able to address your concern.
