Static White Noise from AirPods Max

My AirPods are Brand New and I found out that they make a quiet but very annoying white noise that noticeable when nothing is playing in them.

Firmware Version is 4E71. Latest as i see.

There are many topics about that issue but they are made long time ago. What about your experience, have you noticed smthing like that in your headphones?

Maybe it's cause of very sensetive ears :D

Greetings ssshadek,

You mentioned that we’re working with AirPods Max. The latest firmware version for AirPods Max is 5B58. About firmware updates for AirPods

Please be sure to update the firmware and here’s how -

First, make sure your device is running the lastest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS. Then follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure your device has a Wi-Fi connection and that the AirPods Max are within Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
  2. With your AirPods Max on, please listen to music or other audio content for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Then put the AirPods Max in the Smart Case.
  4. Plug the Lightning cable into the bottom-right earphone. Then plug the other end of the cable into a USB charger or port. Wait 30 minutes for the firmware to update.
  5. After 30 minutes, reconnect the AirPods Max to the iOS, iPadOS, or macOS device and check the firmware version again.

Let us know if that sound continues.

Thanks.
