Screen Mirroring form iPhone doesn’t support Chromecast.
Many apps on your iPhone, at least the ones made by Apple, do not have in-app controls that support Chromecast.
Instead Apple apps, services, and devices, support a similar but different and incompatible protocol: AirPlay.
A select set of third party apps on your iPhone may support both AirPlay and Chromecast, unified as one local streaming option. Those apps often use the common Chromecast icon in their app.
To use AirPlay, you will need an AirPlay sending device (e.g. iPhone) and an AirPlay receiving device (Apple TV box, or Roku, or AirPlay-enabled smart TV).
To use Chromecast, you need Chromecast sending device and a Chromecast receiving device.
Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
