line spacing

MBA M2 - just started using Pages. My line spacing is set to auto-single. I pasted some paragraphs from an article into my document. Now my document has that line spacing - it double spaces when it should single space etc. To fix this in Word, you put the cursor in your back in your original typing, hit the paint brush, then put your cursor after the pasted text, and it copied the formatting from the previous, so you'd be back to normal. Or, you could go into line spacing options and set it. I don't see where to do either of those in Pages.
