Disable "Add New Wallpaper" from iPhone lock screen

That is my number one complaint, followed closely by every other time I look at my screen, all of my icons are wiggling with the “x” wanting to be deleted just because I touched the screen a nanosecond too long.

I’ve (unintentionally) met the home screen customization stuff a couple of times over the years, so I’m not the right person to ask about that. Same for getting into jiggle mode unexpectedly. I have had some annoying problems with carrying the iPhone in my shirt pocket, but aiming the display forward avoids that. As for your feedback for Apple, they may or may not read postings here, so send it directly.

What’s the point of having this forum if Apple’s not gonna do anything about it. Another thing that bothers me is how the home screen is always on camera I hate when I grab my phone phone and it has camera mode open and it drains my battery. If only they would take the time and read what the consumer really wants.

You have a forum for us to trash your product pretty much and not get any solutions? There are so many things wrong with Apple is not even funny I’m constantly fighting with my phone and I wish that I would’ve grown up using android instead.

You’re not talking to people that work for Apple here.

If Android works better for you, by all means use it.

Pending some hypothetical future changes by Apple here, disabling tap-to-wake and maybe also raise-to-wake can reduce or avoid this particular annoyance.

No, I don't have a forum. This is Apple's forum. I provided you with the feedback link for you to let Apple know how you feel. Personally, I don't care.

Why does what phone you "grew up with" matter? If you don't like iPhones, switch to an Android. I hereby give you permission.

This is an idiotic design flaw that results in my iphone prompting me to change my wallpaper at least 3-4 times a day. It happens any time I move my finger on the screen the wrong way. I was carrying my phone in my hand during an event and I counted that this happed SEVEN TIMES IN TWO HOURS. No. I don’t want to change my wallpaper. If I did, I’d take the time to do it the classic way.

I understand this is a design flaw related to the Apple Watch. I thought I had adjusted a setting to fix it but it hasn’t worked. This can’t possibly be that hard to fix. FIX IT.

Yeah it’s actually your own fingers or something else you put rubbing on your phone that’s unlocking it. So it’s you changing your wall paper. Maybe a case that closes over your screen would suit you better.

If you put your passcode on to prompt immediately after locking the screen it will stop doing that. I finally figured it out after looking through all of the settings.

I wish. That does not work sadly.

My husband and I agree with the above that this is the WORST feature ever created by apple. Super annoying.

Things like this are always reviewed by management. This was a choice by Apple. It needs to be fixed.

It is literally the worst!!! It’s like ever time I touch my phone. Crazy annoying!

Maegan can you be more specific with what you mean? I don’t understand, but I would love to disable this function.
