Has anyone found their New 13”MacBook box smells like mildew?

Stinky Macbook pro Ugh I got my new MacBook Pro today and it reeked and smells like mildew. It's awful. I wiped down the machine and it seems better but the cord still stinks even after wiping it down. This order was for brand new from Apple and really for the price I don't think something so yucky should arrive. I hope it airs out but has anyone else heard of this?

Apple Studio Display Chemical Smell Anyone with a Studio display getting a chemical smell build up in their room? I have a small home office setup and the smell is not noticeable when your in the room, but if you go out and come back in the next morning or after lunch break, you definitely smell it. Air purifiers clean it up in about 15 minutes. I found the below similar issue was experienced with cinema displays. Apple LED Cinema Display 27" chemical odor - Apple Community Cheers Darren

if you bought direct from Apple, you have 14 days from receipt to return for a full value refund.
