Apple TV- Xbox Controller - NBA2K23 (Apple Arcade) not working

Hi there, I was trying out apple arcade and any NBA2K game (21,22,23). The left and right buttons and left and right triggers don't work. All the other buttons on the controller work fine. And those buttons work fine on any other game except NBA2k23. Does anyone know if it is a setting on the game I need to fix, or is it a bug? I have asked NBA2K too, but was wondering if anyone else had this issue. I've looked everywhere on YouTube and the internet for a solution.

Please help! It is so frustrating, not being able to defend or switch players.
