Airpods Max connection problems
I’m having a lot of problems with my AirPods Max.
They were working fine at first but after a few months it occasionally happened that they wouldn’t disconnect when I put them in the case. It would be weeks between the occurrences.
Then just as the warranty was expiring it began to happen a lot plus it also wouldn’t connect to my AppleTV. It would also disconnect when I was watching a movie and the head detection sometimes seem to be active even though it was turned off.
Another problem was that if I removed them from my head - even just slightly - the right ear would turn off and I’d have to put the AirPods in the case to get it back on.
I discovered the firmware was out of date and some difficulty updating it but after that was done and an AppleTV update it improved - the only issue was that after taking them out of the case it would usually connect and disconnect a couple of times before the noise cancellation would active and the connection would stay.
There did t seem to be any problems using them with my iPhone.
Then a few hours ago after a movie I put them in the case for a while. When I next went to use them they wouldn’t connect to either my AppleTV or iPhone.
I tried a factory reset but the white blinking light after the amber light didn’t come on. And both AppleTV and iPhone showed the Max as paired even though I had both forget the device.
After several attempts they finally reset and I repaired but now everytime I take them off my head they disconnect/reconnect many times automatically even when in the case.
Can anyone suggest what could be causing the problem and some solutions?
Cheers
