Sharing Find My location with Email instead of phone number?

When my friend shares his location to me in "Find My" app i see his contact name and photo that is stored in my phone's contacts.

When i share my location back to him it appears as my iCloud account email and no avatar.

When i message him on iMessage it displays me with the same name and photo i have saved myself on contacts on my phone... i want to appear the same way on the Find My app. How do i fix that?

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. Our recommendation is to see if your name and photo appears in Find My with other contacts or maybe a family member in Find My. If your friend is the only one experiencing this behavior, we suggest having them verify that your contact information is updated correctly.
