live wallpaper?

carla ~ Apple's Weather wallpaper is 'live' in that your Home Screen will display a background image of the current weather for your location – so a dynamically changing sunny, cloudy, or rainy, etc. image. The screenshots below of my Home Screen show only a small sample of the possibilities – at sunrise, mid-morning and night:

Open Settings > Tap Wallpaper > Tap “+Add New Wallpaper” > Tap blue Weather icon at top right > Tap "Add" at top right > Tap "Set as a Wallpaper Pair" > Swipe up from the bottom to finish.

If you are running iOS 16 on your iPhone, then it doesn't look like you are able to use Live Photos for your wallpaper. If this is something you'd like to see brought back in a future iOS update, we would recommend leaving feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple
