iPhone pop up message - wants to paste from notes or MacBook Pro

I occasionally receive this pop up message (see attached photo), or a similar pop up message that says pasting from MacBook. What worries me is that this only happens while using a specific banking app. I’m worried my MacBook could be compromised and somehow pulling the data from my iPhone? If it weren’t a banking app then I wouldn’t be as worried. I also use the website version from the bank on my laptop.
