yes, same here. I did find out the phone case might have had to do with the freeze-ups. Don't ask me why, but I bought a different case and it stopped. Has only done it once when it was in my purse. The first case I had was very expensive, and the manufacturer - thankfully - refunded my money and let me keep the case. I couldn't have returned it anyway because my husband cut out a piece of leather off its side to see if it was pressing down on the buttons too tightly, causing the constant freezing. That didn't fix it either. I agree with you who say give us a fix please Apple, don't just tell us to restart or press the side button 20 times a day, I did that more often than I made or received calls. I have had iPhones since my first iPhone 3, and this is the worst I've had.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max refuses to acknowledge certain buttons on webpages. Such as, “get started” “submit” “finish” “pay now” etc. I will click a button right next to that button, and it will work just fine.

I know this post is old, but I just wanted to chime in quickly and say, Apple does not look at these forums, there is a new Support app installed on your iPhone a couple updates ago.

You can leave your feedback there and PLEASE DO so these issues get fixed.

Hi Apple, appreciate this fix of the symptoms, but is there a fix coming for the root cause. Can’t be doing this 3 times a day. Never had this b4 on any previous apple pro handset. Tbh not good enough really for a premium $2.5k phone. Any solutions pls?

I have similar issue and despite of restart this happens intermittently. All of a sudden the screen becomes unresponsive.

Only problem is they take few hours of diagnostic over the phone and then ask to schedule an in person appointment that is few days far. You end up wasting 10-15 hours in this in total. Apple should watch these forums and improve on their product. They are big company and they price their product so high, we expect quality too

I am having similar issue with the new iphone 14 pro max.

Apple support performed did so many diagnosis but no clue. This is happening once in a

while but almost everyday. Especially during the phone calls, as the screen is unresponsive,

I can’t end the call. However, the phone works back to normal in 2 to 3 mins.

This is really annoying, apple senior tech support could not solve the issue. They mentioned iphone 14 pro max hardware and software is good.

I am assuming, this is a software issue, apple should consider this issue seriously and fix ASAP. I am regretting that I replaced my 12 PRO Max with no reason.

I am sure we will have to wait for iPhone 15 and will be just forced to switch to that to get the issue fixed. Or hope someone will listen and release a fix or issue a mass replacement program if there is not fix available via software. But not sure if later will happen because that means less revenue.

I'm having something similar.

When I'm answering a message from notification center, or when I'm in a phone call and I wanna write something, the right side of the keybord has a really low sensitivity, and I have to press harder. But I noticed if I'm in a phone call with buds, this issue goes totally away.

Do you also have the same bug?

Same here!! I have had various iPhone models and this has to be the worst. Touch is often unresponsive and sometimes it just shuts down and won’t turn back on. I have had to force restart this phone more times than I have ever had to at all. May be it’s the dynamic island which to this point I don’t see it’s function as it only works with few apps like media, phone calls, and clock. I miss my last iPhone :(

iam also haveing this problem, Apple refuses to fix the issue or replacement , told me to do 100s of suggestions and tests but nothing , very frustrated and disappointed from this I have never seen a after sale service as bad as Apple , waste hours of your time at stores for service that you paid 1000s for there product, and they say to go home without a fix

The fact that my touch Id only works occasionally doesn't bother them, I can't get a Face ID to work either. I don't know what happened to Apple but they will not exchange or fix the phones to make them work. I paid 2,000 for a iPhone 14 plus with extra memory. Not happy this will probably be my last iPhone.

My apple iPhone 14 pro max touch screen feature is not working after few days of recent update. I visited apple service centre but they are saying it's hardware issue. I never dropped my phone or damaged it by any means. Then why I have to pay for this hardware issue occured all of a sudden? My phone was working very well. I was watching a video on YouTube and all of a sudden the touch screen feature stopped working.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max has a black screen all the time it’s super frustrating I have to ask Siri to text or call someone to get my phone to turn on. I paid way too much for this phone to have any issues like that
