how to fast forward or rewind Apple TV using iphone remote app/control center app

This isn’t the same question many are asking. We have an Apple TV 4K and our remote went missing. Since the remote does not have a finder capability we are left to use our iPhone control center app (software). We are also running the latest version of iOS but the only options available in the software app is 10 seconds rewind or 10 seconds fast forward. This won’t cut it. Whenever we have to fast forward through a show we last left off (say, 1 hour in), doing 10 seconds fast forward not only is incredibly long and painful, but after pressing 10 seconds fast forward about 30 or more times, it locks up the app and we can’t control the system anymore.

I’ve uploaded a screenshot of the app so you can see there is no fast forward or rewind options. Can this please be added into the app so we can quickly get to the positions we left off on shows?

I have tried holding the 10 second buttons and even holding the right or left side of the touchpad on the remote but nothing.

of course if there is a way to do it with the iPhone app in control center we welcome any and all advice.
