Downgrade from iOS 16.1.1 to iOS 15.7.1

Good Day to all,

I recently upgraded to the new iOS operating system and was given the notification that I can downgrade back to iOS 15.7 if I am not happy. Please someone assist me with how I can do that.

I am a type 1 Diabetic and just got a sensor for continues glucose monitoring. The device does not work with iOS 16.1.1 and I will not be able to use my sensor until I can downgrade my operating system on my Iphone 13 mini.

I really need urgent help and I'll appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

Did some research, and found the following link in the iPhone settings under Software Update...

Apple security updates - Apple Support

If you scroll down to the "Get The Latest Updates From Apple" section you'll find the following disclaimer...

"Note that after a software update is installed for iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS, it cannot be downgraded to the previous version."

This implies that the window of opportunity is during the upgrade process.

Ultimately, if you're not sure I would recommend calling Apple Support.
