Netflix App on Apple TV 4k 2021 Siri Remote not working

Hello,

verfy often the siri remote does not work in the netflix app homepage. Only the buttons work there. So I can not search any videos or go to top or bottom. I only can start the suggested movie. If the movie runs, the touchpad works and I can go forward in the movie via the touchpad.

But if I go back to the main view, the touchpad does not work anymore. So I can not use the netflix app in this case. Sometimes the remote work again, when I reboot th whole system, but in the most cases it does not work.

In other apps everything works fine.

I also tried reinstallation of the netflix app. But this did not help.

Apple TV firmware is: tvos 16.1(20K71)

Netflix App is: unknown (not possible to see)

But all updates load automatically.

Can someone help me here?

I deleted the netflix cookies via visiting this url:

netflix.com/clearcookies

I don't know if it was the solution or just coincidence. But now it just works again. Next time I will try it again and will report

What do you mean? I`m on the apple tv and there is no touch screen. I can not navigate in the main view, because all navigation button are dead. The only buttons I have are on the remote. (Touch and the hardware buttons. Both are dead in the main view) Only the start button works.

I`m wondering that nobody else has this problem. I think many people use netflix on the apple tv with the siri remote?

This is a big problem for me. If this not works in the netflix app the whole apple tv is useless I think. Because I use Netflix most of the time.

Does someone else have this problem and was able to fix it?

you don't need the physical remote buttons to search on the netflix app it have some search icons in the left side of the screen

We use the Netflix app using only the touch circle and button circle on the Siri Remote of the appletv 4K se remote, the Siri button don’t have any function in my country

I also use the touch and navigate ring. But in the netflix app this is most of the time out of order. Do you never have this problem?

Firmware of the remote is 0x0070
