Extremely slow file transfer speeds on OS Ventura

I use Samsung T7s, SanDisk Extreme Pros, LaCie Rugged Drives, and UHS II SD Cards. Transferring between all drives and SD cards have been extremely slow since updating to OS Ventura. Extremely frustrating when you move hundreds of gigs or even TBs of data every day...

I used to be able to transfer 1TB of data in 4 hours.. now it takes 26 hours.. WTF is going on? Tried on Ventura and Monterey with Intel and M1.. all the same... even stopping the transfer it hangs.. for a 5 thousand dollar machine this is balls

No, ya que por cuestiones de trabajo no me era posible de momento pero me di cuenta luego luego tras la actualización ya que también tengo un dock Dell 6000 para 2 monitores mas y tras actualizar este ya no prende en automático tengo que desconectar y volver a conectar el cable de alimentación para que lo reconozca y es un problema muy molesto tener que estar haciendo eso. Sobre lo del tema que el internet afectaba la transferencia se me hizo algo ilógico ya que no tiene nada que ver con ello por eso también me di cuenta que no tenían idea de lo que pasaba.

What does the security content in the link you provided have to do with fixing the file system issues and write speed issues pertaining to internal and external drives? Nothing in the security notes states anything about fixing this issue, which I still have to this day. System-wide, it takes about 2 hours to transfer 20gb from local dmg to desktop on Ventura. I'm just going to be that person who says Ventura is the worst OS ever made.

Hello there... anyone know if this issue has been fixed yet? Is moving down to Monterrey really the only option for now? I am using 13.3.1 on a Mac Mini M2 Pro and simply can not copy files from SD cards to any external drives... impossibly slow... thanks.

Same here. Trying to move a large amount of RAW photos onto a brand new T7 thats been formatted to AFPS and it's a complete joke.

$3k MacBook Pro can't even be compatible with a SSD that has 20K positive reviews?!?! Oh, and this is a PROFESSIONAL DEVICE, yet it's taking me half a day to move files.... This is embarrassing.

I am having a very similar issue with Ventura copying of files. From one external SSD to another takes waaaaaay longer than molder MacBook Pro using Sonoma IOS. Is there a fix in the near future to resolve this or is there a way to turn off an internal virus protection software? Mine will copy at a normal speed then stop and think for quite a while then resume which results in an overall slow copying speed.

I'm using a 16inch m1 Macbook Pro with 16GB memory. I did report the bug to Apple Feedback. Know any other work around other than waiting?

Transferring from a T7 that worked great before the upgrade to Ventura. Super slow now. Transferring from a T7 to the Sandisk extreme pro. Is there a patch for this?
